Complaints and Notice

Any member of the University community may make a complaint allegation against any student for misconduct that violates the Code. Information brought to the attention of the Dean of Student’s Office alleging misconduct will be investigated.   Upon receipt of a complaint, a University Conduct Officer will initiate an investigation to determine if the complaint has merit.

The offices listed below resolve the specific complaints.  Should the Dean of Student’s Office receive one of these complaints, we will direct that complaint to the appropriate office.

• For alcohol violations or community standards violations in
 or around a university housing facility, direct the complaint to 
the Office of Housing and Residence Life at 817-257-7865
  .
• For alcohol violations or community standards violations in or around a fraternity/sorority chapter facility, direct the complaint to the Office of Fraternity/Sorority Life  at 817-257-7281
• For complaints involving discrimination, including sexual harassment, direct the complaint to the Office of Institutional Equity at 817-257-8228
